Bella Rey - 3 Months

Last week on July 21st, Bella turned 3 months. I cannot believe how fast the last month has gone! Bella seems so grown up, and gets stronger and stronger every day!

She weighs 11 pounds as of this morning. Still just a skinny girl, but she is happy and hitting so many milestones. Here is what she is doing now:

• Bella is constantly rolling from side to side. She has a nice bald spot on the back of her head.

• She is now a pro at rolling from her belly to her back. She was hating tummy time for a while there, but as long as she has her bink and something to look at she is fine. Although I have to guard her on her shoulders because she will just immediately roll over.

• These last few days she has been trying to roll from her back to her belly. It is pretty cute! Her body will be all twisted to her belly except her head. Stinking heavy head! :)

• Bella is a talker. She likes to hear her own voice, and she can sure be loud. Especially when Daddy is home playing with her.
• Bella loves her Daddy. She gets so excited when he comes home from work, and always has big smiles for him. Pedro has always been proud of the fact that Bella has not majorly spit up on him. Well, last week that all changed. 

• She is almost in size 2 diapers. Size 1 is tight, but I'm trying to finish out what we have. 
• Bella loves to play with her toys on her play mat. She is so good at grabbing them and trying to pull them into her mouth. She is also starting to coordinate both hands to grab one toy. Before it was as if she didn't even know she had 2 hands. 

• Our little girl is obsessed with her left hand. She will stare at it all.the.time. even sometimes in her sleep when she starts to stir, she will raise her left hand up and stare at it, then fall back asleep. It is pretty cute.

• Bella is now at the stage where her hands are in her mouth constantly! She will try to get both hands in. She will shove her fingers so far back that she will gag. 
• Bella can sit up in her bumbo for short periods of time. We are still working on those core muscles!

• She has started to belly laugh. It is the cutest little laugh, but I have yet to get it on video! 
• Bella had her first dip in our pool last week when we had family in town. She was okay with it as long as she had her binky.  

• Bella Had her first trip to San Francisco last weekend. It was pretty windy so Bella hated it. We kept her bundled in her stroller all day.

• Bella has the sweetest smile and facial expressions. I just love to talk with her and play with her all day. I cannot resist that sweet face!

• Bella still loves going for walks and being outside.
• She likes to fly in the air. She gets a big grin and starts to pant like a puppy :)
• Bella has recently started cuddling my while holding her to my chest. She wouldn't do this before. I love it! Especially when she is extra cuddly after a nap.
• Whenever we go out to the store, everyone turns their heads to look at Bella. Everyone who sees her or sees pictures of her all say the same thing. "She is so beautiful!" "She is so alert!" "She looks older than 3 months."
• Bella is a content baby. She will keep herself entertained, and really does not cry much. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful baby.

 We love this little girl! I can't believe that in 6 months she could be walking! I was walking at 8 or 9 months old. She is definitely a go, go, go little girl. We are so proud of our sweetness, and are so lucky to be her parents.
