Bella Rey - 4 Month Stats

Bella is now 4.5 months old. She had her 4 month appointment with the pediatrician today. She is a happy, healthy baby!

Mom, what is this crinkly paper?

The pediatrician was very surprised that Bella has been rolling over for 2 months now, and that she can sit up by herself for longer than just a couple of seconds. He was also amazed at how tall she is!

Hey, I kind of like the crinkly paper.

Bella is teething. I was suspicious of this because she has been sleeping crappy, is very boogery, and is chewing on the hard toys constantly. The pediatrician confirmed that her gums are rough and preparing for some teeth to pop through! Ahhhh!

Here are her 4 month stats:

weight: 12 lbs 3 oz (10%)
height: 26 in (89%)
head circumference: 16.2 in (50%)

She is still as tall and skinny as ever! The doctor is not concerned about her weight at all because she is following her own steady pattern, and she is happy, strong, and smart.

After her shots she only cried for about 30 seconds. She was so brave! She even got a Thor band aid!

Miss Bella Rey, I love how smart and active you are, but stop growing up so fast! You should still be a little baby, unable to get around, and just staring off, but you are rolling and scooting everywhere! You love to sing at the top of your lungs all day and you give me endless smiles, and I love every minute of it! Mommy and Daddy love you, and we are so amazed by you and all you have learned to do in 4.5 short months.
