Laraia Family Vacay 2015

Last month, the Laraia's gathered here in California for a very fun family vacation. We got to see Pedro's parents, sisters (and a boyfriend), aunt, uncle, cousin, and grandma. They literally came in from all over the world. Japan, New York, and Brazil.

We started off in San Francisco for a couple of days. Pedro, Bella, and I went to Halfmoon Bay while we waited for his Parent's flight to come in. It was Bella's first time seeing the ocean, and touching the sand. She absolutely loved it!

Once everyone's flights had landed we went and got food and then explored the Golden Gate.

The next day we headed down to Monterey and Carmel. We drove the coastal highway at 17 Mile Drive. I always love that drive! It is so beautiful, and with the overcast skies that day it was even prettier. The light blues and grays were so calming. While at Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey, an old cab driver paid for Bella to have a caricature drawn for us because she was the most beautiful baby he had ever seen. What a nice guy!

The water was freezing, but she didn't care. She just wanted to be in the ocean! photo cred: Kyle Wullschleger

The next day we headed up to Lake Tahoe. It is such a beautiful place! We enjoyed driving and walking around the lake, paddle boating, swimming in the resort pool, and playing games.

After a few days in Tahoe, we headed to Yosemite. We stayed in a beautiful cabin, played games, explored the valley, Glacier Point, and Mariposa Grove.

Modeling for Ana.

After all that driving, we headed back to Roseville to rest. The family spent one day here, then heade up to Mt. Shasta. It was so good to see everyone, and we can't wait for our next big adventure together. Bella loved all of her family, and it was so fun to see her interact with them. Thanks for coming to visit familia Laraia!
